SUNAGI BULOH – The Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad will not be taking the Covid-19 vaccine during its first phase of implementation.
She wants the priority to be given to the frontliners under the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).
“MoHE has many frontliners. We have doctors, nurses, laboratory assistants, so, I trust that they should be prioritised. They are faced with the risk of meeting the people, patients and such.
“That’s why I asked for them to be given the priority for the vaccine.
“InsyaAllah (God willing), I will receive the vaccine during its next phase. No problem. I am not afraid. I am ready but I would like to prioritise the frontliners of MoHE,” she said during the news conference after visiting the Covid-19 Immunisation Programme at the UiTM Hospital in Sungai Buloh this morning.
