KUALA LUMPUR – A decayed body believed to have died for over a week was found in the drain of Jalan Broga last night.
The body was found at 8.37 pm last night by the road from Broga heading towards Semenyih, next to the Diamond City.
The Kajang District Police, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaid Hassan said that the victim was clad in T-Shirt and dark jeans. They also found the mobile phone believed to belong to the victim.
“No weapon was found at the scene of the event. The victim is believed to have fallen into the drain. Inspections on the body of the victim found a Samsung mobile phone and a wallet.
“Based on the identification on the victim, he was known as Suresh A/L Nagappan, 43-years-old and his last address was at G1A Taman Prima Suria 43200 Batu 9 Cheras,” he said in a statement today.
According to Mohd Zaid, the case is temporarily classified as sudden death while waiting for the result of autopsy.
