7,289, highest Covid-19 cases to date

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia continued to record an increment of Covid-19 cases by hitting a new record high with 7,287 daily cases today.

Selangor continued to maintain its record as the state with the highest infections with 2,642 cases today, an increment of 593 cases compared to yesterday.

This is followed by Johor with 664 cases, Kuala Lumpur (604), Sarawak (513), Negeri Sembilan (410) and Penang (380).

Meanwhile, Kedah (336), Terengganu (268), Sabah (266), Melaka (258), Pahang (211), Labuan (63), Putrajaya (23) and Perlis recorded 8 cases.

With the latest figures, the cumulative Covid-19 cases in the country has shifted to 525,889 cases. – MalaysiaGazette
