KUALA LUMPUR – The police would only allow the movement of three individuals including the driver in a vehicle for medical purposes, vaccination and emergency in the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) areas.
Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said that the residents in EMCO localities only need to show their appointment from the MySejahtera application, website, appointment card or short messaging system (SMS) to the authorities on duty during the roadblocks.
“For emergency cases such as sickness and death, movement approval can be granted on a case to case basis,” he said in a statement today.
He also advised the public to continue to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP) determined by the National Security Council (MKN) and jointly play a part in flattening the Covid-19 infection curve in Malaysia. –MalaysiaGazette
