KUALA LUMPUR – 7,654 new Covid-19 cases have been reported today, an increment of a whopping 1,267 cases compared to 6,387 cases yesterday.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, with the increment, the cumulative Covid-19 cases in the country has also rose to 792,693 cases.

The last the Malaysia recorded the daily cases of more than 7,000 cases was on 5 June 2021.

He said, Selangor also recorded more than 3,000 daily cases, with 3,260 new positive cases today.

It is followed by Kuala Lumpur (1,550), Negeri Sembilan (698), Kedah (337), Johor (313), Sarawak (286), Melaka (230), Sabah (225), Penang (185) and Kelantan (118).

Meanwhile, Perak, Terengganu, Labuan, Putrajaya and Perlis recorded 61, 82, 33 and 2 cases respectively. – MalaysiaGazette
