KUALA LUMPUR – The Ministry of Health (MOH) reminded the public that the relaxation on several facilities for those who have completed their Covid-19 vaccination in Phase 1 of National Recovery Plan (PPN) states from today onwards does not mean that the we are safe from Covid-19 infection. On the contrary, the relaxation was made for economic reasons
Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah asked the people to continue wearing face mask, double layers if needed, practice physical distancing and wash hands regularly.
“Avoid crowded and congested places. Take care of yourselves and take vaccine as soon as possible,” he Twitted.
Yesterday, caretaker Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that dine-in is allowed for individuals who have completed their vaccination is allowed from today onwards (20 August) in Phase 1 States.
The additional convenience for Phase 1 states also include non-contact and nont-group sports and recreational activities, night market and weekend market.
The additional convenience were decided after considering the positive development of vaccination for adult population nationwide that has exceeded 50 percent, earlier than its 31 August target. –MalaysiaGazette
