KUALA LUMPUR – The new Cabinet under Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob may not have much changes from the previous cabinet under Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as it would be filled by the 114 Members of Parliament who supported Ismail Sabri, said the former Minister of Federal Territories, Tan Sri Annuar Musa.
“Our work and agenda have been halted, perhaps only a few would change portfolio.
“I don’t think that everything would be changed with this new government. It would be appointed among the 114 too. It was also toppled by these 114 earlier. We have been moving in circles,” he said after launching the Rumah Prihatin flash flood humanity mission to Kedah today.
Therefore, Annuar, who is also the Member of Parliament of Ketereh advised all Members of Parliament (MPs) to be responsible and do not hop from one party to another.
He also wanted the MPs to stop political threatening for their personal benefit and private agenda.
He said, they should be ashamed of themselves and the people out there as the government has changed hands a couple of times within a short period.
“To me, all MPs should not threaten each other, hop here and there. We are disrupting stability.
“Remember, the people chose us not to disrupt stability but to work.
“Do not abuse the people’s mandate for the wrong reason. The people are watching us. If they see us as ‘troublemakers’, they will never choose us again in the next general election.
“How many times have we change the government? It’s enough. We should be feel ashamed of ourselves and to the people,” he said. –MalaysiaGazette
