Covid-19 recorded 37 deaths yesterday

KUALA LUMPUR – 37 Covid-19 deaths were recorded yesterday. From the amount, nine cases were Brought in Dead (BID).

Based on the latest data shared by COVIDNOW, the Covid-19 death toll in the country has reached 30,147 cases.

Terengganu recorded the highest number of new deaths with seven casualties.

It is followed by Negeri Sembilan (5), Sabah (5), Kelantan (4), Selangor (4), Johor (3), Perak (3), Kedah (2), Pahang (2), Sarawak (1) and Kuala Lumpur (1).

As of yesterday, there were 69,261 active Covid-19 cases nationwide, an increment of 3.7 percent from 66,795 active infections last week.

Meanwhile, 5,755 new positive cases were reported yesterday, where 98.2 percent or 5,654 of the cases were under Category 1 and 2. -MalaysiaGazette
