KUALA LUMPUR – Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) issued an apology after the TAWAUfm Radio Station aired the Maghrib azan earlier than scheduled.
The Sabah Broadcasting Director, Zulkefli Mohd said, RTM is aware of the importance of azan broadcasting, especially the Maghrib azan throughout the Ramadan as it serves as a guide for the Muslims to break fast.
However, the Maghrib azan was unintentionally aired 4 minutes earlier on 1 Ramadan 1443H by the TAWAUfm Radio Station.
“The Sabah Department of Broadcasting Malaysia once again apologise to all listeners of TAWAUfm over the mistake and will ensure such incidences do not repeat in the future,” he said in a statement today. -MalaysiaGazette
