KUALA LUMPUR – The payment for i-Sinar application made before 25 February will be done in stages beginning today.
“This involves those who are still awaiting for approval and the unapproved applications before the i-Sinar without any criteria is made. The EPF appreciates the patience of its members while the process is ongoing.
“If the members find that there is still no changes on their application status, they may check on the status later,” he said.
According to EPF, new application which does not require any criteria will be opened on 8 March.
The EPF will take five working days to process the application.
Members can begin to check on their status and payment date after the period.
Beginning 8 March 2021, the members are given the leniency to make amendments on the amount they want to withdraw, banking information, address, phone number and payment mode through the i-Sinar Online website.
The withdrawal amount of i-Sinar and its payment schedule up to a maximum of six months will remain.
Members with savings of RM100,000 and below (Account 1), have an access to the maximum withdrawal amount of up to RM10,000.
Payment will be made in stages for the maximum period of six (6) months, with the first payment of up to RM5,000.
Meanwhile, members with more than RM100,000 in the Account 1 has access of up to 10% of their Account 1 savings.
However, the maximum withdrawal permissible is RM60,000. Payment will be made in stages for up to 6 months, with the first payment of up to RM10,000.
