KUALA LUMPUR – 7,748 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours, a slight decrease from 8,209 cases yesterday.
Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, the increment shifted the national cumulative Covid-19 cases to 603,122 cases.
According to him, from that amount, Selangor remained as the biggest contributor to the Covid-19 cases of the country with 2,612 cases followed by Kuala Lumpur (851), Negeri Sembilan (709), Sarawak (706) and Johor (446).
“It is followed by Penang with 376 cases, Perak (371), Sabah (287) and Kelantan (286).
“Kedah recorded 263 cases, Melaka (234), Labuan (230), Terengganu (203) and Pahang (146).
“Putrajaya recorded double digit daily cases with 20 cases while Perlis recorded eight cases,” he said in his Facebook post today. –MalaysiaGazette
