KUALA LUMPUR – 6,849 new Covid-19 positive cases have been detected throughout the country today.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, the increment has turned the total tally of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia to 646,411 cases.

Selangor remained as the highest contributor to the tally with 2,558 cases.

This is followed by Kuala Lumpur (884), Sarawak (699), Negeri Sembilan (685), Johor (426), Sabah (309), Kelantan (248), Penang (205), Labuan (176), Melaka (170), Perak (161), Kedah (161), Pahang (89), Terengganu (66), Putrajaya (10) and Perlis (2). – MalaysiaGazette
