KUALA LUMPUR – The Minister of Federal Territories, Tan Sri Annuar Musa said that he has been fined by the police today.
In a statement, Annuar said that he was issued the compound after visiting former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at his house.
“He received the compound from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and he will pay the fine as soon as possible,” said a statement from his office today.
On 10 July, the Ketereh Member of Parliament uploaded his picture during the visit to Pak Lah’s house.
The two-hour visit was also attended by his wife and they had lunch together at Abdullah’s house in Kuala Lumpur, along with the former Prime Minister’s wife, Tun Jeanne Abdullah.
“Today, we took the chance to visit Tun Abdullah Badawi and Tun Jeane Abdullah at their residence in Bait Badawi, Kuala Lumpur.
“We spend about two hours together and had lunch prepared by Tun Jeanne. May Allah SWT always bless Pak Lah and his family,” Annnuar twitted.
However, Annuar deleted the tweet several hours later after he was attacked by netizens for allegedly violating the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
Meanwhile, the office of the Minister of Federal Territories did not reveal the amount of fine imposed on Annuar. –MalaysiaGazette
