KUALA LUMPUR – The Covid-19 daily cases continued to increase aggressively after breaching the 13,000 mark to 13,215 new positive cases today.

Director-General of Health Tan Sri Noor Hisham Abdullah said, the increment shifted the cumulative cases in the country to 880,782.

Selangor continued to be the main contributor of Covid-19 cases in the country by recording 6,120 cases within the last 24 hours.

It is followed by Negeri Sembilan (1,603), Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (1,499), Kedah (695), Johor (599), Penang (509), Melaka (484), Sabah (370), Sarawak (363), Perak (344) and Pahang (222).

States recording less than 100 cases include Terengganu (70), Labuan (26), Putrajaya (53), meanwhile, Perlis recorded three Covid-19 cases. –MalaysiaGazette
