KUALA LUMPUR – The police have recorded statements from the food premise owner, helicopter company owner and everyone involved in the incident of a helicopter landing in Ipoh to collect order for nasi ganja to be flown to Kuala Lumpur.
The Perak Police Chief, Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said that they have also recorded statement from the police station chief who granted the interstate travel permit from Selangor to Perak.
“The police will continue their investigation and submit the investigation to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action soon,” he said in a statement today.
Inspection on the Bell 505 Global Ranger helicopter owned by Systematic Aviation had landed in Ipoh on 23 July after getting an approval to travel interstate for aircraft maintenance.
It was not to take nasi ganja order as reported by Harian Metro Online on 26 July 2021, 3.51 pm.
Mior Faridalathrash said, the case has been investigated under Regulation 16 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (PPN) 2021.
Thus, he reminded the public not to manipulate statements issued by certain media practitioners and always ready to understand the whole content of an article to avoid speculations. –MalaysiaGazette
