Covid-19: Malaysia records highest daily cases of 19,819

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia breaks another Covid-19 record by recording 19,819 positive cases within the last 24 hours.

With that, the cumulative cases in the country has shifted to 1,183,110 cases.

Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that as of today, Selangor still recorded the highest daily infection of 8,377 cases.

It is followed by the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur with 2,467 cases and Johor recorded 1,162 cases.

“Kedah reported 1,371 cases, Kelantan (1,003), Sabah (949), Sarawak (552), Negeri Sembilan (800), Penang (867), Perak (662), Melaka (508) and Pahang (558).

“Terengganu (481), FT Labuan (5), FT Putrajaya (46) and Perlis recorded 11 cases,” he said. -MalaysiaGazette
