KUALA LUMPUR – The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) verified the appointment of Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu as the Special Advisor to Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin with minister rank.
He, who is also the Deputy President of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU) is the Member of Parliament of Tambun and former Menteri Besar of Perak.
In a statement today, the PMO said that Ahmad Faizal will be responsible of advising the Prime Minister on community affairs, community communications and socio-economic development matters.
The PMO also congratulate Ahmad Faizal on his appointment.
