PUTRAJAYA – Four police officers went to the Perdana Leadership Foundation (YKP) to record statement from the Chairman of Parti Pejuang Tanahair (Pejuang) today.

The two police vehicles arrived at the foundation at 1.54 pm.

At 2.03 pm, the Deputy President of Pejuang, Datuk Marzuki Yahya were seen entering YKP, followed by the party President, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir at 2.07pm.

At 2.16 pm, Dr Mahathir arrived at YKP in a black Lexus.

The police took statement from them after the former Prime Minister took part in a demonstration along with the opposition at Dataran Merdeka before marching towards the Parliament on 2 August as they were denied from entering the Parliament building.

Last Friday, the police took statements from five opposition MPs namely, Ipoh Barat MP M. Kula Segaran, Kulim-Bandar Baharu MP Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, Pokok Sena MP Datuk Mahfuz Omar, Pulai MP Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub and Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo.

On 4 August, six opposition MPs gave their statements at the Dang Wangi IPD, meanwhile, three others did the same on 5 August. –MalaysiaGazette
