KUALA LUMPUR – The country hit another Covid-19 high after it recorded 21,668 new cases today.

The highest record earlier was 20,889 case on 6 August.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said that Selangor remained as the highest contributor of cases by recording 6,278 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 2,436 cases. Besides that, Kedah and Sabah recorded 2,143 and 2,052 cases each.

Following is the breakdown of cases according to the states according to Noor Hisham on his social media:

Sarawak – 1,216
Negeri Sembilan – 899
Kedah – 2,143
Penang – 1,229
