KUALA LUMPUR – The Pertubuhan Sahabat Ulul Amri Malaysia (PSUAM) pleads the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA) to grant a royal pardon to Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
It’s Chairman, Syed Muhammad Imran S.N. Syed Abdul Aziz said that the royal pardon should encompass all ongoing court actions and convicted sentence on the Member of Parliament of Pekan.
He said, the royal pardon is vital to enable the former Prime Minister to return and rule the country, especially in facing the Covid-19 pandemic.
“As a leader of non-government organisation (NGO), we suggest that the Seri Paduka Baginda Tuanku grants Royal Pardon to the Orang Besar Berempat Pahang, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak from any court action.
“I am confident that only Allah can open the hearts of the people to accept the leadership of Datuk Seri Najib again in ruling the government well and ensuring the welfare and happiness of the people,” he said in a news conference outside Gate 3 of Istana Negara today.
Earlier, Syed Muhammad Imran sent a memorandum to YDPA requesting Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to grant royal pardon to Najib and appoint him as the Interim Prime Minister to replace Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who has lost the majority support at the Dewan Rakyat.
“It is to replace Muhyiddin who has failed in getting the majority support of the Members of Parliament, thus, proving his failure in handling politics and controlling the Covid-19 infections.
“Muhyiddin’s failure has caused the people to go unemployed, lost their ability to get income, some killed themselves, the closures of hundred thousands of businesses and bankruptcy to the extent that the investors have lost their confidence and affect the national economy,” he added. –MalaysiaGazette
