Kajang police seek man who kicked motorcyclist

KUALA LUMPUR – The Kajang police are hunting down a road bully who kicked a motorcyclist at Bandar Teknologi Kajang yesterday.

The Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaid Hassan said that the police have not received any report on the incident.

They received a 58 seconds video footage showing a driver with car number plate JKN 4726 roughing up a motorcyclist. The incident was recorded by another motorist at the location.

From the video footage, the police believed that the incident happened near the traffic light at Bandar Teknologi Kajang, based on the statement given by the person who recorded the video.

“No police report was lodged on the incident or against any individual,” he said.

However, police lodged the First Information Report (FIR) to investigate and to track down the perpetrator and the victim.

The investigation is carried out under Section 323/506 of the Penal Code for causing hurt and criminal intimidation on the victim.

The police urged people with information on the incident to come forward and assist the police so that the perpetrator can be brought to justice. At the same time, the public is also urged not to make any negative speculations on the incident or take matters to their own hands.
