KUALA LUMPUR – The Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (AMLA) proceedings involving former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been adjourned to 31 May.
High Court Judge, Mohamed Zaini Mazlan delivered the order today during the proceeding which was scheduled to resume this morning.
Earlier, several media practitioners who have been following the proceeding was waiting for Najib and his lawyer, Tan Sri Mohamed Shafee Abdullah at the compound of the court since 8.00 am this morning.
However, they did not show up until Mohamed Zaini said that the proceeding involving the Pekan Member of Parliament has been postponed to 31 May. -MalaysiaGazette
