IPOH – The Perak police are hunting for a man to assist into the abduction and murder case of an oil palm estate worker at Bidor.
The Perak Police Chief, Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said that the police are hunting for the suspect, Anbu Manikam.
He said, police investigation found that the suspect who also works in a oil palm estate has several criminal and drug records.
“The 30 years-old suspect who was jointly involved in the case has been arrested by the police and we are currently running operations to track down Anbu.
“People with information about the suspect are urged to come forward or contact the investigating officer, Assistant Superintendent Noor Irwan Abd Ghani at 017316 8097 to assist in the investigation,” he said in a news statement today.
MalaysiaGazette reported earlier that the body of the man who had been missing for almost four months after being abducted by two men had been found at an oil palm estate in Bidor last Tuesday.
The murder victim was discovered by the police after the arrest of a 30 years-old suspect at the Dengkil Rest and Service Centre (R&R).
The Perak Police Chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said that the police received a report about the 29 years-old victim being abducted by two suspects on 3 October last year.
Investigation found that the victim worked in oil palm estate, and he was kidnapped on 13 September 2021 at a fishing pond located at Kapung Poh, Bidor while he was with the informant. – MalaysiaGazette
