KUALA LUMPUR – The Ministry of Health (MOH) said that there was no spike of Covid-19 cases after the Sarawak State Election.
Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the number of daily cases also decreased in that state.
“Daily cases, hospital and ICU admission dropped. The deaths also dropped,” he Twitted today.
According to Noor Hisham, 75.6 percent of the people in Sarawak are fully vaccinated and 62 percent of the adults have received their booster shots as of 9 January.
The 12th Sarawak State Election was held on 18 December where Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) won 45 out of the 82 seats contested. – MalaysiaGazette
