KUALA LUMPUR – The Johor State Election should be the battlefield to reject the convicted Barisan Nasional (BN) and UMNO leaders.
The Chairman of Perikatan Nasional (PN), Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that the voters need to reject those leaders from the party known as the court cluster.
According to him, the Johor election is the best time to show their hatred towards the wickedness of those leaders in their party.
“The leaders of the party are rotten with their wickedness. Some are brought to the court, convicted and sentenced. This is not something that can be taken lightly.
“From whatever angle, this must be opposed and rejected.
“This is about using the right to vote? For what? It is surely for the benefit, welfare and to build the country based on moral values and ethics.
“So, why do we want to implicate ourselves with that group? Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been convicted and sentenced guilty. The appeal is another question.
“Datuk Seri (Ahmad) Zahid (Hamidi) needs to answer the court’s accusation after, there is possibility a case implicating him. Thus, these two leaders are leading Barisan Nasional (BN),” he said.
Earlier, he was asked about the support of the Malay community who can compromise with leaders involved with crime as proven in the Melaka state election where BN had a windfall win.
Commenting further, Muhyiddin, who is also the Chairman of Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA) said that the voters in Johor need to reject UMNO and choose other parties.
He said, the voters can choose PN that has been proven to be able to lead the government well. -MalaysiaGazette
