KUALA LUMPUR – The Covid-19 pandemic has taken 21 lives yesterday as of last midnight.
According to the COVIDNOW website, the numbers included nine brought-in-dead (BID) cases.
The additional deaths shifted the Covid-19 death toll in Malaysia to 32,180 cases.
Sabah recorded nine deaths, followed by Johor and Perak with four cases each. Kedah recorded two deaths, meanwhile, Kelantan and Negeri Sembilan recorded one death each.
Malaysia also recorded an increment of active cases to 202,884.
From that amount, 6,907 cases or 3.4 percent were under treatment at the hospitals and 204 cases were being treated at the intensive care unit (ICU). The figure also included 116 cases which required respiratory support.
The country also recorded a cumulative of 3,090,916 Covid-19 cases, including 20,598 imported cases. – MalaysiaGazette
