KUALA LUMPUR – The stock for type O blood group is low and donors are urged to donate blood immediately.
According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), blood is needed every day and continuously. Besides that, the Ramadan month is coming soon.
The thalassemia patients require blood transfusion every month, premature babies with anaemia, patients undergoing surgeries, patients with kidney failure, mothers suffering blood loss during delivery of baby and accident victims are among the patients who require blood transfusion.
