PUTRAJAYA – Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob paid his final respect to the former Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN), Allahyarham Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa at the latter’s house in Precinct 10 this morning.
Ismail Sabri arrived at Ali’s house at 9.42 am this morning.
The incumbent Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN), Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali welcomed the Pime Minister upon his arrival.
Ismail Sabri left the residence at around 10.09 am without meeting any media representatives or giving any statement.
Ali, 66, was flown-in from Ireland and reached the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 6.30 am today.
His body will be brought to the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque at Precinct 3 for the final respect at the Sheikh Daud Al-Fathoni Hall from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm.
A funeral prayer will be held after the zohor prayer at the Main Prayer Hall of the mosque.
He would then be laid to rest at the Precinct 20 Muslim Cemetery at about 1.30 pm today.
He served as the KSN for six years from 2012. He passed away at the Dublin Hospital in Ireland last Thursday (21 April). -MalaysiaGazette
