Sinovac, AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines approved as booster dose
Besides the Cominarty Covid-19 vaccine manufactured by Pfizer-BioNTech, the Drug Control Authority (DCA) has granted the approval for CoronaVac manufactured by Sinovac/Pharmaniaga Lifescience and AstraZeneca vaccine to be used as booster dose, said Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar.

Pharmaniaga Bhd will be supplying Sinovac Covid-19 booster doses to designated private hospitals and clinics soon, following conditional approval by the Drug Control Authority on Wednesday
CoronaVac can be used on 12 years-old and above
The by Drug Control Authority (DCA) has granted the conditional approval for the usage of CoronaVac manufactured by Sinovac Life Sciences Co. Ltd, China and Pharmaniaga LifeSciences Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia to be used on individuals aged 12 years-old and above.

The Drug Control Authority (DCA) has granted a conditional approval for single dose Covid-19 vaccines, Convidecia Recombinant Novel Coronavirus Vaccine (Adenovirus Type 5 Vector) and Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine.
